Master in Governance e Management dello Sport

The Master's Programmes in Sport Governance and Management (Postgraduate Master's Programme and Advanced Master's Programme) provide the managerial knowledge necessary for the effective management of organisations operating in the sports sector.
These programmes prepare professionals with expertise in: sports law and legislation, strategic and marketing dynamics, communication and broadcasting specific to the sports industry, corporate governance and social responsibility in sports, accounting and financial reporting, commercial and tax law for sports businesses, production and logistics management, venue management, as well as the history and sociology of sport.
The teaching approach is interdisciplinary and interactive, featuring primarily online lectures, workshops, and practical exercises. The programme is further enriched by guest speakers, company visits, and participation in industry workshops.
These Master's Programmes are the result of a close collaboration between universities, companies, and industry professionals, and benefit from the contributions of leading national and international experts in the field.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The Master's Programmes train sports managers to lead organisations, design major events, and support public and private entities in strategy, communication, and value creation.
Courses, delivered by industry experts, cover sports management, infrastructure operations, event safety, promotion, and legal aspects, enriched with real-world case studies and testimonials.
TARGET PARTICIPANTS
The Postgraduate Master's Programme is aimed at graduates with a bachelor's degree in any field, while the Advanced Master's Programme is intended for graduates with a master's or single-cycle degree in any discipline who:
- wish to integrate the knowledge gained in their professional or academic experience with fundamental sports management skills and competencies
- aim to acquire basic, specialist, and multidisciplinary competencies in sports management to begin their professional career in the sports sector in various roles
The main organisations interested in recruiting professionals with these competencies include:
- Organising Committees for national and international sports events
- National and international Sports Federations
- Sports promotion organisations
- Cultural promotion organisations
- Event management service companies
- Sports clubs and organisations
- Consulting firms operating in the sports sector

Registration fee: €1,100, plus €160 for the regional fixed fee and €16 for the virtual stamp duty (discounts are available for members of sports federations recognised by CONI and for UNISANNIO students).
