Alias Career
he Alias Career is established to provide students of the University of Sannio with guarantees of respect, dignity, and privacy, implementing protective measures for those who need to use, within the University, an “elected” name different from their official one, as an expression of their gender self-determination.
The request to activate the Alias Career can be submitted by individuals enrolled in degree programs, master's degrees, single-cycle master's degrees, and all postgraduate educational pathways at the University of Sannio.

Activation Procedures
To activate an Alias Career, it is necessary to send the following documentation via email to carriera.alias@unisannio.it:

Activation of the Alias Career
Once the request is received and the confidentiality agreement is finalized, which defines the conditions, obligations, and responsibilities of the parties regarding the use of the "alias" identity within the University, with the signature of the Rector and the requesting student, the “Technical Contact”, specially appointed, will take care of creating the Alias Career, assigning a new provisional, non-consolidable official identity chosen by the requesting person.
The University will manage all internal career acts with the "alias" identity, such as, for example:
- Enrollment/exam booking for university exams and graduation exams through the ESSE3 student career management system;
- Take exams and related registration in case of passing;
- The University will also create an institutional email address with the "alias" identity;
- The Alias Career will always be linked to the original career, already activated during enrollment, and related to the requesting person’s official identity:
- This Alias Career will coexist with the original one if the effective career persists, unless an interruption request is made or until the competent judicial authority issues a final ruling on sex attribution rectification;
- The “Technical Contact” is committed to making periodic updates related to the Alias Career, also recording them periodically in the official career.
