Psychological Counseling Service

The Psychological Counseling Service of the University of Sannio offers students a space for listening and discussion with experienced professionals, ensuring support in dealing with personal difficulties, mental and psychological well-being.

A support and guidance space
Active sincea.a. 2022/2023, the Psychological Counselling Office of the University, under the supervision of the Rector’s Delegate for Orientation, is a free and permanent service. Offers individual advice to the entire UNISANNIO student community, including PhD students/s and international mobility students/s.

What difficulties can they face?
University counselling helps to overcome problems related to:
✅ Study (difficulty of concentration, time management, organization of the study)
✅ Emotional management (anxiety, stress, future fears)
✅ Interpersonal relations (relationships with colleagues and faculty)
✅ Self-esteem (insecurity, self-doubt/e)

How is the service provided?
ASL professionals provide the service. The University of Sannio has signed a memorandum of understanding with Benevento's Local Health Company (ASL), enhancing the service.

Users will benefit from:

✅a series of interviews (1 to 6) with experienced psychologists

✅follow up meeting

✅possible continuation with a psychotherapist of the ASL, based on the needs found

The activities occur within "CLOUDS - Center for the psycho-physical well-being of the student community", realized by the University in collaboration with the ASL Benevento. The center is managed with the support of the U.O. Diritto allo studio and the coordination of the Rector’s Delegate for Orientation in synergy with the ASL staff.

How to book a meeting
To make an appointment, send an email to counseling@unisannio.it
If you cannot attend, you must notify the same address at least 24 hours before the meeting.
