The BSc in Electronic Engineering aims to train engineers with broad, multidisciplinary knowledge essential for thriving in rapidly evolving technological and professional landscapes. The programme focuses on electronic engineering’s role across various information and communication technologies, from visible applications like PCs, the internet, and mobile devices to less obvious ones like safe driving systems and RFID sensors.
Graduates with skills spanning system, circuit, and component design will be equipped to design, develop, and manage electronic systems for information acquisition, processing, and transmission. Career opportunities include roles in the design and production of electronic, optoelectronic, and telecommunications systems and positions in manufacturing, public administration, advanced service providers, and consultancy firms.
First year: Foundational mathematics, physics, and computer science courses.
Second year: Core engineering courses covering electrical circuits, systems, signals, electronics, and electronic measurements.
Third year: Specialised training with options focusing on electronics for automation or telecommunications.
