BILA Award
The British Italian Law Association presents the BILA Award for Italian law students. The purpose of the award is to encourage students from Italian universities with interests in the British legal system to explore relevant issues and topics by researching, considering and developing a topic in a short essay written in English on any matter of law in particular regarding matters relating to cross-border legal practice.
A new topic will be assigned each year. The competition is open to all students enrolled in an Italian university at the time of submission. Applications for the award will be accepted annually from June to October 15. The winner of the prize will be announced at the annual BILA dinner and on the BILA website. The prize will be worth £ 1,000 (one thousand pounds) and the opportunity for a two week 'internship' in an English law firm.
