Registration is now open for the XXIII Multidisciplinary University Course on Development Education promoted and organized by UNICEF and the University of Sannio, this year under the title "... Towards the Future" Synergies.
The course, coordinated by the rector of Sannio University Filippo de Rossi and the president of the Unicef Committee of Benevento Carmen Maffeo, will be held by the professors of the University of Sannio and other universities as well as by UNICEF experts, for 30 hours, divided into ten meetings, each lasting about three hours, from 16 to 19. It also benefits from the collaboration and participation, in the organizational and operational phase, of Sec. Province of Benevento of the CAMMINO Association and of the Order of Psychologists of Campania.
The course analyzes numerous issues related to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, with attention to issues of environmental sustainability, from the phenomenon of immigration and its prospects, to that of diversability, new poverty, the environment, international cooperation.
The course intends to provide, through a participatory methodology, all the critical tools for approaching a more widespread work that everyone can develop in the framework of their own competences or of the single work and study contexts. At the end of the course a certificate of participation will be issued. The 5 euro fee that students are required to pay upon enrollment will be donated to support the Unicef project "Every Child is Life".
