The Territorial Cohesion Agency finances the SHerIL (Samnium Heritage Innovation Lab) project, placing it among the very first positions in the ranking just published: fourth out of 146 projects submitted and 27 admitted for funding.
The project, financed for 5 million euros, aims to redevelop and refurbish an area of about 2,000 square meters, owned by the University of Sannio, located in the west of the Municipality of Benevento, in the Triggio district. The redevelopment of the area is aimed at creating a Center oriented towards research, technology transfer, higher education, business creation and dissemination in the field of protection, enhancement and use of tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

The Center will be structured in such a way as to become a business incubator for activities derived from enhancement, and in particular for the creative industry, cultural and social enterprises. Finally, the Center will be equipped to establish a center for the elaboration and production of tools for high dissemination of knowledge, projecting the cultural heritage of the territory towards a highly technological and digital dimension, also through immersive tools of augmented reality.
