Unisannio forms alliances with 6 European universities
The University of Sannio signed an alliance with six European universities. It is called RISEN and will work on strengthening higher education programs, under the aegis of the European Commission. The universities that join the agreement together with UniSannio are the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences (Germany), the Institute of Technology Sligo (Ireland), the JAMK University of Applied Sciences (Finland), the KdG University of Applied Sciences and Arts ( Belgium) and Òbuda University (Hungary). The inter-university alliance promoted by the EU aims to share a long-term strategy and promote European values and identities, to ensure cohesion and renewed competitiveness of the union. By enhancing mobility and cooperation between institutions, it is intended to pool skills, platforms and resources to provide joint study programs or modules covering the themes of engineering, socio-economic and natural sciences.
"This is an opportunity for our students - said the rector Gerardo Canfora - for both didactics and research. The goal is to immerse our children in a dynamic international context that is in the process of germination. Very promising in terms of opportunities and confrontation because you can leave from Benevento and reach Europe without giving up your roots ".
