At Unisannio the students of Texas Tech University

The Unisannio welcome project for American students from Texas Tech University has reached its fourth edition. Also this year, thanks to an agreement between the US university and the University of Sannio, almost thirty students spent a month and a half, between May and June, in Benevento to follow the mathematics courses that professor Ram Iyer, of the Texas Tech University, organizes in the Samnite town.

The project coordinator is Professor Ciro Visone, professor of electrical engineering, assisted by his colleagues Daniele Davino and Silvia Ullo, both professors at the Engineering Department. The students and professor Ram Iyer have received the support of two tutors for three years, they are undergraduates at the Civil Engineering Master's course, selected through Skype interview by the American professor, Daniele Di Maria and Sabrina Salerno, who have a specific contract with the American university. For a gesture of courtesy to Benevento, the students and professor Ram Iyer, for the photo before returning to the US, also spread the flags of the local football team that in 2016, during their first stay in the city, had been promoted in Serie A.
