On October 12 at 11 am, under the Arch in the amym of the Course of Institutions and History of Roman Law of the Master's Degree in Law of the University of Sannio, Aglaia McClintock, professor of Roman Law and Rights of Antiquity, will give a lecture on "The Goddess of Trajan".

Professor McClintock will attempt to unravel an enigma about the deity found on the keystone of the monument, the worked stone placed at the top of the arch, right in the center of the gaze. It is a female figure on a serpentine background, with a long dress draped to uncover the knee, depicted in an identical way also on the other façade of the Arch. Who will be the tutelary goddess of Trajan?
