Key to Interpretation: exploring the complexity of social networks is the title of the conference scheduled for Friday 19 May at 11 a.m., in the Aula Ciardiello in Via delle Puglie.

The digitization process is transversally affecting all areas and spheres in which individuals move. In particular, the increasingly widespread diffusion of social networks is stimulating a broad debate and raising numerous questions that have remained unresolved until now.
This was discussed at the DEMM UNISANNIO Department in the scientific meeting "Key to Interpretation: exploring the complexity of Social Networks in a multidisciplinary perspective".
The meeting offered a sociological and legal perspective on the complex world of social platforms. Attention focused on the role that social networks play in society and on the possible negative effects deriving from disinformation. The legal overview referred in particular to the protection of personal data following the enactment of EU Regulation 679/2016.
