"University and political power: the '31 oath. The freedom to say no" is the title of the conference organized by the University of Sannio on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the imposition of the oath of loyalty to the fascist regime and the refusal to this imposition was opposed by a very small minority of professors.

The event will be held on Friday 17 December at 4.30 pm in the Reading Room of Palazzo De Simone in Piazza Arechi II.

Greetings from the rector of the University of Sannio Gerardo Canfora and the director of the DEMM UniSannio Department Massimo Squillante are expected. Coordinated by Vincenzo Casamassima Professor of Constitutional Law at the Samnite University. Speakers: Aniello Cimitile, professor emeritus of Software Engineering at UniSannio, Amerigo Ciervo, provincial president of the ANPI of Benevento, the historian and essayist Andrea Frangioni and Sevgi Doğan research fellow of the Political and Social Sciences Class, Scuola Normale Superiore.
