SPORTELLO KT (Knowledge Transfer Point)

The KT Desk was established as part of the project MA. CROSS (MATCHING AND CROSSING), funded by the Ministry of Economic "Call for proposals for the financing of projects to upgrade and build capacity of the Technology Transfer Offices (UTT) of the Italian Universities and Public Research Bodies (EPR), To increase the intensity of technology transfer flows to the enterprise system.

It carries out a scouting activity both within the University aimed at bringing to light the scientific results achieved, the technologies developed, the patents granted to external companies to identify the territory mainly dedicated to innovation and the protection of their intellectual heritage and create with them effective collaborations.

In particular, the KT Window:

•   promotes Intellectual and Industrial Property both at the University and in the business environment of reference;

•   monitors the patent portfolio and spin-offs at the University;

•   Performs a diagnostic of the portfolio of designs, trademarks and patents held by SMEs in the territory;

•   Enhance internal and external relations through intra- and inter-departmental meetings and the industrial world;

•   promote networking with the industrial world to strengthen collaboration with SMEs and key local innovation actors;

•   Support students to promote the development of cross-functional and entrepreneurial skills and support them in participating in idea prizes or business plan competitions.
