Technology transfer
Fostering collaboration between the university and the business world, transferring scientific research discoveries to the production system has always been one of the strategic objectives of the University of Sannio, in the conviction that a close synergy between these two worlds is of strategic importance for socio-economic growth and development of the territory, a real engine of innovation able to increase not only the competitiveness of Sanita companies, but also the attractiveness of the University and the employability of students.
To this end, the University of Sannio, through the Organizational Unit "Technology Transfer and Market", directs its attention towards a technology transfer programme and innovation promotion aimed at creating close relations with the local business sector, public administration and the world of services.
The University supports local companies, whether large, medium or small, in their innovation and growth processes through:
Commissioned research activities, both basic and applied.
Consultancy and study activities, advice, feasibility studies, technical and scientific assistance, coordination and supervision, and project activities.
Training activities involve high-level courses, refresher courses, seminars and conference cycles.
Services are subject to tariffs that provide for technical certifications or documentation (analysis, checks, tests, calibrations, technical performance).
The Organisational Unit also provides support and advice to the academic community on intellectual property protection and patent exploitation, promotes the development of entrepreneurial culture for students and researchers, and provides support to business start-ups and spin-offs.
