Associate Professor in «Roman and Ancient Law», University of Sannio.

She has obtained the national scientific qualification of Full Professor in Roman Law.

Since September 2007, tenured assistant professor at the University of Sannio, Benevento.

Since January 2018 Life Member of Clare Hall, University of Cambridge.

She is University Ombudsman since April 2021.

She is Member of the Executive Committee of the Center of Anthropology of the Ancient World (AMA) since May 2020.

She is Delegate for Cultural activities of the Department Demm since November 2022.

2008-2009 to present: Chair of «Institutions and History of Roman Law» at the University of Sannio, Benevento, Mandatory Course of the Law Degree.

2007-2008: Chairs of «Institutions of Roman Law» and «History of Roman Law».

2006-2007: Chair of «Introduction to the Study of Roman Law».

2009-2010 to present: Instructor in the «Law and Literature» course; co-author of the textbook for the course.

Awards

Servi della pena. Condannati a morte nella Roma imperiale (Napoli 2010) was awarded the Special Prize «Furio Diaz» of the Fondazione Cassa Risparmi di Livorno within the Ninth Gérard Boulvert International Prize in Roman Law aimed to encourage the development of research in Roman Law. The ceremony took place during the opening session of the Société Internationale ‘Fernand de Visscher’ pour l’Histoire des Droits de l’Antiquité in Salzburg, September 10, 2013.

Visiting Fellowships

She was Faculty Visitor at the Cambridge Law Faculty as well as Visiting Fellow at Clare Hall, Cambridge, from April to July 2017.

She held a series of lessons March 24-26 2015 at the University of Rennes1 in the Erasmus+/KA1 Istruzione superiore, Teaching Staff Mobility.

Since 2004 to 2011 she was awarded a research stipend at the Max-Planck-Institut für europäische Rechtsgeschichte, Frankfurt:
