Salvatore Rampone is Professor of Computer Science at the University of Sannio - Benevento, from 2002. Furthermore from 2011 to 2019 he is the Scientific Director of FUTURIDEA. From 1997 to 2002 he was Researcher and, from 1999, appointment Professor of Computer Science at the University of Sannio - Benevento. From 1989 to 1997 he carried out research and teaching activity in several institutions (ALCATEL 89-90, IIASS 90-91, C.N.R. 91-93, University of Salerno 94-95, Master in Advanced Technologies of the Information and Communication 95-97), maintaining a tightened collaboration with the Cybernetics research group founded by Eduardo Caianiello at the Department of Theoretical Physics of the University of Salerno.
He received the laurea degree in Computer Science from University of Salerno, Italy, in 1989.
His research interests focus in the area of Soft Computing, applied in several fields (Aerospace, Bioinformatics, Botany, Computer music, Cosmology, Didactics, Environment, Geoinformatics, Signal Processing, Telecommunication) with special reference on Predictive analytics.
