Study Plans – Engineering Master Degree Electronics Engineering for Automation and Sensing

Upon enrolment, to the student is automatically assigned the statutory study plan drawn up by the Study Course Council according to the statutory and regulatory provisions and the provisions relating to the teaching system.

The statutory study plan contains the list of training activities that the student must follow and pass in order to be admitted to the final degree exam.

The training activities included in the study plan are the following:

• compulsory courses
• orientation courses
• free choice courses
• training / internship
• final degree exam

COMPLETION OF STUDY PLANS

In the second year, the student must choose a total of 9 credits from the following 9-credit courses:

  • MICRO AND NANO FABRICATION TECHNOLOGIES
  • WEARABLE MONITORING SYSTEMS
  • SOFTWARE DEFINED RADIO
  • APPRENTICESHIP

The student must also include freely chosen courses in the study plan, for a total number of credits equal to 9 ECTS.
The choice can be made, subject to authorization from the Study Program Council, among all the courses activated within your Department and/or University as long as they do not show repetitions of teaching activities already present in your study plan.
As a rule, courses belonging to higher or lower level study courses are not eligible. The Degree Program Board, in advance, has identified a pool of courses defined as "automatic approval" for which it is not necessary to be individually authorised.

These courses are visible and selectable, independently, within your personal area via the online procedure. Once selected they automatically enter the study plan. For all other courses not included in the selected pool and therefore not visible within one's personal area, prior authorization is required from the respective Study Program Council which evaluates the adequacy of the training project.

In this case the procedure is paper-based and involves completing the PPS form to be sent, together with the historical certificate of exams taken, via email to the Department's Teaching Administrative Support Office, at sad.ding@unisannio.it.

These teachings will appear in the booklet following the approval of the respective Degree Course Council.

Courses not included in your study plan, or not approved, cannot be booked and therefore cannot be supported. For this reason it is advisable to make the choices in good time, preferably before they are taught.

CHOICE WINDOWS
There are two windows within which you can make choices:

  • first window from 1 September 2024 to 15 November 2024;
  • second window from 1 February 2025 to 15 April 2025;

Students can change their choice (of orientation and free choice courses) during the same academic year but only and exclusively within the aforementioned windows and with the same methods described above.

To complete the study plan, it is also possible to recognize credits acquired in previous university careers.
Exams taken as part of Erasmus study plans and recognized by the competent Study Program Board automatically adjust the study plan.

CHANGE IN THE STATUTORY STUDY PLAN
To present an individual study plan other than the statutory one, contact the Student Secretariat desks. For information, consult the dedicated page on the university website.

The plan drawn up by the student will be submitted for approval to the Study Program Council which decides taking into account the student's cultural education needs and professional preparation. The Course Council decides within 60 days of submitting the form. The interested party will be notified of the decision.

Students whose proposed changes to the study plan have not been approved will receive notification of any changes made by the competent teaching structures.

Please note that if you do not intend to accept the modified study plan, the interested party must give written notice, by registered mail, to the Student Secretariat within 15 days from the date of receipt of the plan, or present yourself personally at the Student Secretariat desks, to specify the non-acceptance of the plan.

In this case, the student:

  • is required to follow the statutory plan, if enrolled in the first year of the course
  • is required to follow the last approved study plan, if he/she is enrolled in years subsequent to the first or if he/she is out of course.

Exams taken by the student that are not included in his study plan are automatically canceled by the Student Secretariat.
