Enhanced Composite Porous Anisotropic Multifunctional Materials ECOPAM

The project aims at developing lightweight and multifunctional polymeric composite foams (named MAPs in the following, standing for Multifunctional Advanced Porous materials) with an anisotropic distribution of particles induced by the application of a suitable magnetic field (MF) during the production process. Such systems will behave like metamaterials and show tailored structural and functional anisotropy coupled with a cellular structure.
